Center City Kehillah
What is Kehillah?
The Kehillah ("community" in Hebrew) is an alliance of synagogues,
community volunteers and representatives from Jewish community
organizations who work collaboratively to create an inspired Jewish
community. The Kehillah works on creating dynamic programs, educational
experiences, events and service opportunities to insure that needs are
met and the quality of Jewish life is enriched in the community.
Center City Philadelphia is home to over 15,000 Jews and serves as a second home to the tens of thousands Jews who work downtown. Amidst the hustle and bustle of vibrant urban life, with its theaters, music, fine dining and clubs, you can also find an exciting Jewish community with opportunities for learning, worship, social action and Jewish arts and culture.
